Glen French

President and CEO

Glen has more than 30 years of general management, marketing, and sales experience in both large and small companies. He co-founded, built and sold three medical device companies. Prior to Pulmonx, Glen was President, Pulmonary Endoscopy, Boston Scientific Corporation (BSC). Before BSC, he was CEO and Co-founder of Asthmatx where he led the company from concept, through clinical studies, product launch, and acquisition by BSC. Prior to Asthmatx, Glen was CEO and Co-founder of Broncus Technologies, and Director and Co-founder of NDO Surgical. Earlier in his career Glen held an array of sales and marketing management roles with American Hospital Supply, Centocor, and C.R. Bard. Glen holds an AB from Dartmouth College, and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Derrick Sung, Ph.D.

Chief Financial Officer

Derrick brings to Pulmonx over 20 years of finance, strategy, and commercial experience across multiple facets of the medical device industry.  Prior to joining Pulmonx, Derrick was Executive Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development at iRhythm Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: IRTC), where he set strategic and financial direction for the company and helped guide iRhythm through a successful IPO.  Prior to iRhythm, Derrick spent seven years on Wall Street as the senior equity research analyst covering the medical device sector for Sanford C. Bernstein & Company.  Previously, Derrick was Director of Marketing and Business Development in Boston Scientific Corp.’s Neuromodulation Division; a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group; and he started his career as an R&D engineer designing heart catheters for Guidant Corporation, now a part of Abbott Vascular.  Derrick received his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego; his M.B.A. from San Diego State University, and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

Beran Rose

Chief Commercial Officer

Beran has 20 years of experience driving growth through product strategy, market development and commercial execution. Prior to Pulmonx, Beran was Global Group Marketing Director at Boston Scientific, where he was responsible for building BSC’s Pulmonary business. He built a new product portfolio and created the market for the first procedure to treat severe asthma. Prior to his role in marketing, Beran was a director of strategy within the R&D and clinical organizations of Boston Scientific. Prior to Boston Scientific, Beran has a decade of management consulting experience for leading healthcare and high-tech companies in Europe and the USA. Beran received a BA from Yale University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Sri Radhakrishnan

Chief Technical Officer

Sri has nearly 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. He joined Pulmonx in 2008 and served as Sr. Director/VP of R&D and Operations prior to being named Vice President, Research and Development and Operations. He started his medical device career at Medtronic AneuRx/AVE and subsequently held management positions in engineering and operations at Bacchus Vascular (Covidien), Foxhollow and ev3. Previously, he worked in the engineering consulting and energy sectors. Sri holds a BS in Production Engineering from the University of Bombay and an MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Alabama.

Jérôme Erath

Senior Vice President & General Manager, Europe Middle-East & Africa

Jérôme has more than 20 years of successful healthcare management experience. He is an international executive with a focus on developing markets for breakthrough technologies. Jérôme has held roles of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and general management in Europe and North America. Jérôme joined Pulmonx from Covidien, where he built and led Covidien’s Vascular Therapies division as its Vice President & General Manager EMEA. Prior to this, he served as VP & GM for ev3 International, acquired by Covidien in 2011. Previously, Jérôme held P&L responsibilities at Baxter International and Celesio. Jérôme holds a Business Administration degree from ISC Paris and a Specialized Master diploma from ESCP Europe.

David Renzi

Senior Vice President, Sales, North America

Dave has more than 30 years experience in the medical device industry during which he has built several high performing sales organizations. Prior to Pulmonx, Dave was President and CEO of Carbylan Therapeutics, and before that Neomend (acquired by C.R. Bard). Prior to that he was EVP and Chief Commercial Officer of SurgRx (acquired by Johnson & Johnson), and earlier was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Novacept (acquired by Cytyc, which was later acquired by Hologic) where Dave and his team took US sales from $0 to a $100M run rate in three years. Prior to that he was Worldwide Vice President of Marketing at the IMPRA division of C.R. Bard, and before that he held several positions of increasing responsibility in sales, sales management, marketing and new business development with the Ethicon and Ethicon Endosurgery divisions of Johnson & Johnson. Dave holds a BS in Marketing from Indiana University School of Business.

Lauren Cristina

Vice President, Finance and Administration (U.S.)

Lauren has nearly 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. She joined Pulmonx in 2009 and served as Director, Finance and Administration until being named Vice President, Finance and Administration in November 2013. Lauren has primary responsibility for leading the Pulmonx U.S. finance function. Prior to joining Pulmonx, Lauren was Director, Finance and Administration at Emphasys Medical. Previously, she worked in the high-tech industry at VLSI Technology and in the public sector for the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors. Lauren holds a B.S.C. in Finance and an M.B.A from Santa Clara University.

Martin Schneider

Vice President, Finance & Administration and Chief Financial Officer, Pulmonx International SARL

Martin has had an extensive career as a senior finance executive in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. He joined Pulmonx as Vice President, Finance in September 2011 and served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer prior to being named Vice President, Finance and CFO International 2015.  Martin has primary responsibility for leading the Pulmonx International Finance function. Prior to Pulmonx, Martin served in multiple finance and controller leadership roles with Alcon, Abbott and Metro International. Martin holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Bern, Switzerland.

Narinder S. Shargill, PhD

Vice President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs and Quality

Narinder has more than 20 years of experience in taking medical devices through clinical development, regulatory approvals and post-approval support through Medical Affairs’ activities, with 15 years of experience in interventional pulmonology. Prior to Pulmonx, Narinder was Vice President, Clinical Strategy and Medical Affairs–Pulmonary at Boston Scientific, where he played a key global role supporting the Alair ® Bronchial Thermoplasty System. Previously, Narinder served as Vice President, Clinical Affairs at Asthmatx, where his efforts led to the approval of the first therapeutic device in the interventional pulmonology space. Earlier in his career, Narinder worked with Baxter following its acquisition of Fusion Medical Technologies, Nycomed Salutar, and Scios Inc. Narinder holds a PhD in Nutrition/Biochemistry from the University of Southampton, England, and completed his post-doctoral training jointly at the University of Southern California School of Medicine and School of Pharmacy.

Kelly M. Shriner

Vice President, Patient Access

Kelly has more than 25 years of experience in the medical device business in both large and small companies. For nearly two decades, Kelly has contributed to the development and initial commercialization of revolutionary procedures for the treatment of asthma and emphysema. Prior to Pulmonx, Kelly led reimbursement for Pulmonary Endoscopy at Boston Scientific Corporation (BSC). Before that, she was Vice President, Reimbursement and a founding member of the team at Asthmatx, which was spun off from Broncus Technologies, Inc. and later acquired by BSC. Prior to Asthmatx, Kelly was Vice President, Marketing and a founding member of the team at Broncus. Earlier in her career, Kelly held marketing and engineering positions at CR Bard, Inc. and Strato Medical Corporation (acquired by Pfizer). Kelly holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University.
